Zoom Events

Zoom Events offers an all-in-one virtual event platform, enabling you to create dynamic hybrid and virtual experiences with tools that engage audiences, showcase content, and foster attendee interaction.

For Cvent customers utilizing Zoom Events to deliver virtual and hybrid event experiences, this integration offers a streamlined approach to managing all aspects of these events within the Cvent ecosystem. It empowers event planners to efficiently organize virtual and hybrid events from a single platform, allowing for end-to-end management - from event creation to registration and tracking participation.

Key Features of the integration are:

  1. Create Zoom Events for Cvent Events

  2. Sync attendees between Cvent & Zoom Events

  3. Communicate Zoom Events details to Cvent registrants

  4. Update participant information in Cvent based on the participation in Zoom Events

  • Expected Release Date: 16 October, 2024

A2Z (Personify) Integration

A2Z from Personify is an event management platform designed to streamline the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and other large events. It provides various tools for managing various aspects of events, such as floor plan design, exhibitor and attendee management, engagement, and revenue generation.

With this integration, Cvent customers using A2Z to manage exhibitor booths can now seamlessly sync exhibitor management data from A2Z to Cvent Exhibitor Management, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined experience.

Key Features of the Integration:

  • Link an A2Z event to a Cvent event

  • Connect A2Z Exhibitor and co-exhibitor to Cvent Exhibitor Admins

    • Automatically create a Cvent Exhibitor Admin from A2Z if one does not already exist in Cvent

    • Update an existing Cvent Exhibitor Admin with information from A2Z

  • Assign Registration Packages to Cvent Exhibitors based on A2Z booth assignments

  • Sync Exhibitor Logos from A2Z to Cvent

Note: This release does not yet support Single Sign-On (SSO); however, SSO functionality will be available in an upcoming release. Once implemented, SSO will allow exhibitors to access the Cvent Exhibitor Admin portal directly from the A2Z application.

Integration Apps History Report

The report is tailored to empower planner administrators to view the history of data syncs for the integrated apps, exclusively powered by Integration Hub.

The current iteration of the report focuses on providing visibility into authentication errors. Users will now be able to access information detailing the reason behind authentication errors and take appropriate action.

We plan to expand the scope of this report to include the history of other types of data syncs, both successes and failures.

  • Expected Release Date: 16 October, 2024

Surveys

Unlink Basic Event Feedback Survey

With this release, we have enhanced the basic event feedback survey capabilities by allowing planners to unlink the basic event feedback survey within an event.

For accounts with the Basic Survey license, this limitation prevented users from making essential adjustments to their event setup, resulting in unwanted survey configurations being permanently linked to events. This enhancement removes that limitation and provides more flexibility for planners to ensure their event configuration is accurate.

  • When planners click on the "Unlink Survey" option, the system will check if there are respondents who have already completed the survey for that event. In this case, planners will need to delete these respondents before proceeding.

  • If there are no respondents for the survey, planners will then be prompted to unlink it.

  • After the basic event feedback survey is unlinked and deleted, planners can create a feedback survey again. The accounts with a Premium Survey license will have the option to create either a basic or premium feedback survey for the event.
