Top News: Updates for Surveys and Integrations

The product team has some significant improvements they're working to deliver that we know you'll love.

INTEGRATIONS

• GoToWebinar (Release Date Change)

  • Cvent administrators can now set up and activate their GoTo Webinar integration in a self-service manner. This provides them with more control over securely managing their credentials.

  • Once the integration is activated, it can be enabled within each event using custom fields; this should be familiar for customers with the GoTo Webinar integration as the fields stay the same.

  • Planners can manage their virtual events and registrations in Cvent while using GoTo Webinar to power the live virtual experience.

  • Manage your GoTo Webinar integration connection details from the Cvent application by navigating to the Integration Apps section under the Integrations menu.

  • The Cvent administrator should also be the GoTo Webinar administrator to set up the connection.

  • Now releasing 13 September 2023.

SURVEYS

• Assessment Question & Answer Data Tags

  • Planners will now have the ability to add Assessment questions and answers via data tags in the Event Email designer to be displayed to the attendees in the emails they send. This enhancement allows planners to customize their communication with attendees taking assessments using standard or custom emails.

  • How to access: If the event has assessments created, planners can find the assessment-related question and answer data tags in the Event Email designer to customize their message.

  • Expected Release Date: 13 September 2023.

• Cvent AI Writing Assistant in Survey

  • Survey planners can now use Cvent's AI writing assistant to rapidly build and refine any text while designing their survey or survey emails. The AI writing assistant will provide helpful hints to help planners communicate their messages efficiently.

  • The writing assistant will be available in the Survey designer and Survey email designer:

    • Everywhere a rich text editor is used

      • Question Widgets

      • Image

      • Text Widgets

    • Strike the right tone by selecting from professional, formal, enthusiastic, or playful.

    • Determine content length -rephrase, concise, verbose.

  • Expected Release Date: 13 September, 2023

• Basic Survey Weblinks (Release Date Change)

  • Planners using basic surveys can now view and share the weblink for basic event surveys. This enhancement gives the planner additional flexibility in sharing the survey to gain more insights from their event attendees, such as through social media and blog posts. Allowing planner more ways to share surveys increases the likelihood of a higher response rate from their event attendees.

  • How to access: After creating a basic survey, planners can navigate to Marketing > Weblinks to copy the survey weblinks for their use, previously only available when the premium survey is used.

  • NEW Expected Release Date: 27 September, 2023
