      GET Endpoints for Optional Items

      API Users can now fetch Optional item data for their events. These additions are designed to provide better flexibility and control over retrieving specific data points for event planners, enhancing their ability to manage optional items more effectively. This will be made possible through two of our new REST API endpoint offerings :

      • List Quantity Item—This will be a get endpoint that allows users to fetch the quantity of items present in an event.

      • List Donation Item—This will be a get endpoint that allows users to fetch the donation items present in an event.

      Things to know :

      • Planners will be able to filter the data using :

        • Quantity and donation item IDs

        • Registration types associated with the quantity and donation items in the event

      • We will support the 'in' operator for filtering in both of these fields, allowing the planner to use multiple IDs and registration types at once as the filter criteria.

      • Membership items are not included in this release.

      Once released, detailed documentation for this REST API endpoint can be found on the Cvent Developer Portal under the "Events" section.
