Top News: Active Speaker Display and Guest Access Enhancements

The product team has two big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

1. Attendee Hub/Webinar: Active Speaker Display – When playing back embedded collaborative sessions, the recording will display both the shared content and the active speaker video feed. When content is not being shared, only the speaker’s video feed will be displayed. This provides an optimal viewing experience during recording playback.

   

2. Attendee Hub: Guest Login –  Cvent Registration’s Guest Widget configuration defaults now ensure that guests can easily access Attendee Hub. “Accepted registrants can be added as guests” is disabled by default and “Add new guests to Address Book” is now enabled by default. This helps ensure that guests are included in the address book and their emails are unique.

Remember Attendee Hub customers - If you have an active event between Wednesday and Sunday of this release date, you will not see these new features until the Monday after the release. This is to ensure we are not releasing features into active, ongoing events.
