Attendee Engagement News for 27 March 2024
Top News: Presentation Integrations, OnArrival updates, and more
The product team has three big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:
OnArrival Updates
Mobile Onsite Registration - The new feature allows walk-in registrants to easily register and print badges using a QR code on their own devices, reducing wait times. Planners have customization options for the registration process, including automatic badge printing and attendee check-in.
OnArrival iOS Launch Kiosk Refresh - The latest release of OnArrival for iOS simplifies launching kiosk mode and provides comprehensive information about its features. Planners can now easily access a summary of different kiosk modes and their limitations, while NFC-enabled planners can conveniently access NFC-specific kiosk setups directly from the launch screen. Cvent will also be ending support for iOS 15 or below.
RFID Exhibitor Booth Visits Report - The new Exhibitor Booth Visits report offers event planners valuable insights into the success of their exhibitor program through RFID tracking. By analyzing data on popular stations, exhibitor visits, and duration, planners can make data-driven decisions to improve future exhibitions and enhance the experience for exhibitors and attendees.
OnArrival Android - Kiosk QR Code Check-In - Kiosk mode for Android enables attendees to quickly check in by scanning their QR code on their badge or phone. This feature streamlines the check-in process for planners and saves attendees valuable time, matching the functionality available on iOS devices.
Attendee Hub/Webinar: Presentation Integration - Upload presentation decks directly into Cvent Studio and add it to the stage. Hosts can seamlessly hand control of the deck to speakers who can then advance their own slides.
Webinar: Code Snippet Support – Webinar Premium now supports custom code snippets like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Hubspot and more. Gain valuable insights and enhance lead generation strategies with your webinars.
Two additional improvements to make your job easier
If you thought the above items are exciting, wait until you see what else the team plans to release in the next launch window:
Attendee Hub: Four new fields are included in the Cvent Address book: pronouns, bio, headline, and personal website. Expected Release date: 27 March 2024
Attendee Hub/Appointments: Easy conversion to Appointments Premium from within the App Builder. Expected Release date: 27 March 2024
