The product team has been working hard to deliver features that enhance meeting scheduling and workflow functionality. See below for four exciting new updates being rolled out for Cvent | Jifflenow.

User Experience Enhancements

Reminder Email Notification Improvement: In this update, we improved clarity and usability by categorizing meeting details into specific types: General Meeting, Sessions, and Mappings. This enhancement allows recipients to easily understand the nature and purpose of each block in their Reminder emails.

Alignment of all Call-to-Actions Button across the Platform: In this update, the call-to-action button has been placed at the bottom right corner of all pages, including the Engagement type creation and settings page, the topics, tracks, and tags creation and settings page, and the user profile at the event and company levels, making it easier for users to locate it quickly.

Expected Release Date: July 26, 2024 (Updated)

Meetings Notes Visibility Enhancements

To improve clarity and functionality, we renamed the "Public" option to "Meeting Manager & Junior MMs" within the meeting details page, indicating that meeting notes are accessible only to users with these roles. Additionally, we transitioned from checkboxes to radio buttons for selecting visibility options, simplifying the interface and reducing the risk of unintended data exposure.

Further "Meeting Managers (MMs)" has been set as the default visibility option. This default setting improves consistency and security by ensuring that sensitive information is protected by default, reducing the likelihood of accidental exposure.

Expected Release Date: July 26, 2024 (Updated)

CCPA Compliance Updates

With this release, we address the compliance requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), specifically focusing on the "Do Not Sell" (DNS) provision. This enhancement reinforces our commitment to protecting user privacy regarding their personal information.

Configured hyperlink, description, button, and confirmation messages will also be displayed clearly to ensure users understand their options and choices regarding personal information sharing.

When users click on the configured hyperlink and access the Jifflenow form, they will be prompted to provide First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. Upon submission, the system records the opt-out preference in the DNS/S as part of the users company profile.

Expected Release Date: July 26, 2024 (Updated)

Email Contact Capability Enhancement

To overcome the limitation of Meeting Managers (MMs) and Junior MMs being unable to include additional participants in the "CC" field when emailing meeting requestors, we have introduced the ability to add multiple participants in the CC field directly from the meeting. This enhancement enables users to include all relevant individuals in the communication, ensuring thorough documentation.
