The product team has been working hard to deliver features that enhance meeting scheduling and workflow functionality. See below for three exciting new updates being rolled out for Cvent | Jifflenow.

PLEASE NOTE: Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence for the near future, as we are continuing to work on aligning product release development work over time.

Enhanced Calendar Options

We are excited to introduce a significant update to the user's calendar functionality on the Jifflenow platform. This enhancement provides more granular control over user-availability by allowing users to manage their availability for individual events, especially when events overlap.

Previously, marking availability or unavailability in the system affected all events, which limited the ability to customize participation based on when there were overlapping events. This constraint necessitated more flexibility in managing availability per event.

Expected Release Date: August 16, 2024

Changing Engagement Type Update

We are enhancing the process of changing engagement types for scheduled meetings, with a goal to improve flexibility and user experience. Previously, users faced restrictions when changing engagement types due to constraints on topic mappings. Specifically, engagement types could only be changed if the topic settings were identical between the current and target engagement types. This update addresses these limitations, providing a more seamless and user-friendly experience.

Expected Release Date: August 16, 2024

Adding Additional Participants from Inbound Request Page

To enhance the Inbound Request Page (IRP) user experience, we are introducing a feature to allow external attendees to add additional participants during the scheduling process. This will allow users to manage their meetings more effectively.

Note: This applies only to the General Engagement type.

Expected Release Date: August 16, 2024
