Say Hello to Rooming List Assistant

But what exactly is it?

Say hello to a groundbreaking feature within Room List Manager that revolutionizes the way you handle rooming lists. With this new addition, we are taking automation and intelligent mapping to the next level. Rooming List Assistant is designed to streamline the process of uploading rooming lists. This enhancement is extremely helpful for any event organizer responsible for managing various lists such as staff, VIPs, board members, speakers, and more. By eliminating the need for manual mapping of reservations, Rooming List Assistant will save you a significant amount of time.

When uploading your rooming lists, Rooming List Assistant automatically maps all the important fields, ensuring a seamless process. Additionally, rooming lists dropped off by event planners (e.g. via the Planner Portal) can also benefit from the same automated mapping.

Why should professional planners/organizers use Rooming List Assistant?

You should use Rooming List Assistant because it eliminates room mapping inconsistencies and enhances the user experience with Cvent Passkey. It also increases efficiency by intelligently processing rooming lists in Excel and CSV formats, eliminating the need for manual input.

'Seating and Diagramming' Feature Tile

This release will add a 'Seating and Diagramming' tile so you can easily begin utilizing Cvent Event Diagramming from the Cvent platform immediately. Once added, the Seating and Diagramming landing page will redirect you to home.socialtables.com. New users can create an account, or existing users can proceed with seating/diagramming their event.

Now, you will be able to add a "Seating and Diagramming" add-on:

The "Seating and Diagramming" link will take you to a landing page. "Create Diagram" redirects you to home.socialtables.com where you can proceed with diagramming or seating.

If you don't have an existing Cvent Event Diagramming account, you can register for a free trial at the login page, or sign up for an e-commerce plan with a credit card to be billed monthly.

Introducing Enhanced Bid Disposition, the latest update to our application that brings a comprehensive redesign to the bid disposition process. This exciting enhancement aims to improve transparency, flexibility, and user experience during the RFP process.

  • AWR Rates Display: With this update, all room types will now display an average weighted rate based on the rate type, ensuring comprehensive visibility and better decision-making.

  • Extended Stay Rate Details: In the new user experience (UX), you will have the ability to accept individual extended stay rates and room availability, providing greater flexibility in managing your travel program.

  1. Enhanced Transparency

    • The redesigned application provides complete visibility by allowing you to view all negotiated rates and room types during the bid disposition process.

    • You now have the flexibility to selectively accept extended stay rates based on room type and rate availability, replacing the previous system where rates were not displayed and all extended stay rates had to be uniformly accepted or rejected.

  2. Consistent User Experience

    • The user interface for extended stay rate selection is now aligned with the daily stay selection process, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive experience for users managing both extended and daily stay rates.

  3. Improved Decision-Making

    • Corporations can now make more informed decisions regarding which rates and hotels to include or exclude in their travel programs. The ability to choose specific rates and room types enhances the negotiation process and aligns it with corporate travel needs.
