We're thrilled to share that our product team is hard at work, crafting significant improvements that we're certain you will love. Curious to know what we have in store for you in the next window? Keep reading to get a sneak peek of the exciting enhancements that await you!

Starting with the Cvent Supplier Network's new and enhanced experience...

New RFP Form Missing Fields Validation Improvements

What problem does this new feature solve for?

There are some exciting changes to the RFP form! The new redesigned form is now just one page, which means you don't have to complete every single required field before moving on to the next section, as you did with the old form.

In the past, when you tried to save or add venues to the new RFP, you would be told that something was missing. But we've listened to your feedback and made some improvements. Now, we'll tell you exactly which fields are still missing, so you don't have to search for them in a long, multi-section form.

What are the most important and valuable things to know about this release?

  • Event dates and event names are still required to save a draft RFP. Upon saving, we will inform you that your RFP was successfully saved and list the fields remaining to activate it.

  • To add venues to an RFP, all required fields must be completed. When you click save and add venues, we will inform you which fields are missing.

  • In either message validation, the fields will be hyperlinked to take you directly to the missing input. Note: The message will not update in real-time. You must click save or save/add venues again to refresh.

More from The Cvent Supplier Network's new experience....

Respecting User Role Permissions in Event Container-RFP Integration

We've implemented a new feature to enhance your experience creating and managing RFPs. The current user role permissions you already have for creating and managing RFPs will also apply to RFPs created through our Event container platform. This means that you'll have the same level of control and management over RFPs, regardless of how they were initiated.

Key features

  1. Allow existing user role permissions around Create and Manage RFPs to apply when browsing or creating RFPs through the Event container platform.

  2. Provide consistency in user experience and ensure that all RFPs, regardless of creation method, have the same level of permissions and access rights.

  3. Improve overall data integrity and security by aligning with existing user roles and permissions.

We're confident this update will streamline and improve your experience managing RFPs within our platform. Our team is dedicated to continuously enhancing our platform to provide you with the best possible experience.
