RFP Budget Management Enhancements

We are excited to announce the release of several new features aimed at improving your budget management experience. These updates include enhanced customization options, efficient export capabilities, and streamlined duplication processes.

Below are the details of the new features:

Custom Views on Budget

1. Personalized Budget Item List: You can now create and save custom configurations for your Budget Item List. This allows for a more tailored approach to budget management, ensuring that the most relevant information is always at your fingertips.

2. Relevance and Preference: Choose the columns that are most relevant to your workflow and rearrange them according to your preference. This flexibility ensures that you can focus on the data that matters most to you.

3. Multiple Views: Save multiple custom views to address different needs and objectives. Whether you need a specific view for a particular project or a different configuration for day-to-day operations, this feature makes it easy to switch between setups.

4. Share Your Custom Views: Foster better collaboration and consistency among your team. Share your tailor-made views with colleagues, ensuring everyone can benefit from your customized configurations.

Duplicate Budget Items

1. Efficient Addition: You can now duplicate budget items within a budget version. This feature significantly reduces the time and effort required to add new items that are similar to existing ones.

2. Quick New Additions: By duplicating existing budget items, you can quickly create new entries without having to manually re-enter all the details. This not only speeds up the budgeting process but also helps maintain consistency and accuracy.

   

Export All

1. Quick Export: You can now quickly export all budget items present in a version into an Excel file. This feature streamlines the process of extracting data from the system for offline analysis or reporting.

2. Enhanced Collaboration: Easily work on the exported data or share it with colleagues. The export function supports efficient collaboration, enabling team members to review and contribute to budget planning without needing direct access to the system.

These enhancements are designed to improve your overall budgeting workflow, making it more flexible, efficient, and user-friendly.

New Filters for RFP List Custom Views and Filters

We are excited to announce a new enhancement that will allow you to find the right RFPs in the RFP list faster using the custom views and custom filters in the RFP List.

Introducing Custom Filtering on the RFP List Screen

We are implementing a new filtering feature on the RFP List screen which will allow you to search for RFPs based on:

• RFP key contact first name

• RFP key contact last name

• Organization

New Feature Highlights:

• Advanced Search Capabilities: You can efficiently locate RFPs by filtering through last contact name, first contact name and organization.

• Custom Views: The ability to save these filters as custom views will also streamline your workflow and save time.

Logos in Public Block Requests

What is new?

Within the Public Block Request setup, we've updated the layout of the Request Settings panel for clarity.

Importantly, we've added new controls to the Display event logo and Display organization logo.

These are OFF by default for any existing or new block requests but can be enabled to show logos on the Public Block Request form.

For example, you can now show an Event Logo at the top and the Organization Logo (and Organization Name) at the bottom.

What are the key benefits?

• Provides a more professional block request form that's in line with the organization and event branding standards.

• Allows this form to look more like the booking website.

What problems does this solve?

• Provides a better representation of your event to the intended sub-block contacts.

• Reduces questions about the source of the form (e.g. questioning if this is legitimate or is spam).

What's next?

• Soon, we'll be adding the ability to edit a block request form that's live, allowing your organization to make instant adjustments.

Multi-Hotel Group Booking Support

Introducing an exciting enhancement to Passkey's Attendee Booking Site: the ability to create and manage group bookings across multiple hotels. This offers booking contacts more flexibility and convenience for multi-hotel and Citywide events. No additional setup is required. Get ready for a seamless group booking experience like never before!

What is new?

• Improved the Booking Site experience: Booking contacts and Guests can make multiple reservations at multiple hotels simultaneously.

• Updated the Reservation Summary widget: You can now see cost totals by individual rooms and hotels or as a total across all hotels.

• Updated the Group Booking Acknowledgement templates (Master Acknowledgements): We've introduced a new layout with essential booking details and summaries by the hotel.

• Improved how underlying single reservations are modified via the Passkey Booking Site or Call Center Module: If event rules allow, hotel, room types, or stay dates may be modified while maintaining the reservation within the original group booking.

This feature is the best fit for anyone managing multi-hotel or Citywide events and attendees of those events via Passkey.

We're working on bulk updates for group booking reservations via Passkey's Call Center Module.

New Passkey Public APIs for Housing Reservations Management

We are thrilled to share that we've added three new Passkey Public APIs to our existing suite of Housing APIs available through Cvent's API Platform. This exciting release allows integrated partners connected via the Cvent API Platform to perform Create, Modify, and Cancel actions.

One of the standout features of this release is the Reservation Management functionality, which is the latest and most advanced addition to the Cvent Passkey ("Housing") public API suite. These new APIs not only support all the capabilities of the legacy "SOAP-based" RegLink APIs, but they also adhere to the latest security and design standards. This means that API integrations with Passkey are now easier and more powerful than ever before.

With Passkey's Public APIs, you can now:

• Establish a secure connection to Passkey Housing Events, reducing human factor errors.

• Access event and inventory information as well as hotel and room details.

• Create a unique hotel room reservation experience at various levels:

  • Basic: Pre-populate the Passkey booking site with attendee information.

  • Hybrid: Display available hotel rooms on your site and redirect the attendee to the Passkey Booking Site just for final confirmation.

  • Complete: Manage both Shopping and Reservation Confirmation experiences entirely from a custom external solution.

• Synchronize data between systems using APIs and callback/webhook capabilities.

• Passkey's API suite now offers 20+ endpoints providing a wide range of flexibility for various types of API integrations to related systems.

• Common solutions range from simple integrations leveraging 2-3 API's to complex solutions using a larger combination of APIs to achieve desired business processes and automation.
