Updates in the Cvent Supplier Network's New Experience


Introducing Custom Views for a More Tailored RFP Management

Dive into the new CSN Planner experience with enhanced customization! We understand that your preference is unique. Therefore, we're introducing the ability to adjust and personalize what you see in the RFP List on the Home Page of the New CSN Planner Experience.

Custom Views on RFP List: You can now personalize the RFP List by creating and saving custom configurations. You can choose the columns most relevant to your workflow and rearrange them to your preference. You can even Save multiple custom views to cater to different needs and objectives.

  1. Focused Insights: See what's most important to you by tailoring the displayed information, allowing for quicker decision-making and a streamlined RFP process.

  1. Standard View & Beyond: While we continue to provide a default view, you now have the tools to modify this.

  1. Create & Save Custom Views: No more repetitive adjustments! Once you've customized your view, save it. This ensures quick access in the future, optimizing your planning process.

  2. Share Your Custom Views: Foster better collaboration and consistency among your team. Share your tailor-made views with colleagues, ensuring everyone can benefit from your customized configurations.

Updates in Vendor Marketplace


We are thrilled to share that we have made some exciting improvements to our Vendor Marketplace! You can now enjoy a more streamlined workflow when making vendor requests, thanks to our enhanced system.

Additionally, we have made some significant updates to our category and vendor selection screens, resulting in a more user-friendly experience. We hope these enhancements will make it even easier for you to find and connect with the perfect vendors for their events.

Vendor Marketplace Homepage Updates

We have simplified our RFI process to just two easy ways to start - either by entering a location and clicking search or by mapping a vendor request to an existing venue request. We have eliminated the third workflow, which involved multiple steps and often resulted in dropouts.

Category and Vendor Selection Screen Updates

In addition, we have updated our category and vendor selection screens with user-friendly cards instead of a stepper. You can now easily click through these cards, view vendor results, and add them to their cart.

Enhanced Vendor Request Form

Finally, we have enhanced our vendor request form to align with the rest of the forms in our ecosystem. This consolidated form will gather all necessary information from you in a streamlined and efficient way.

We hope these updates will provide you with an even better experience when using Vendor Marketplace.

Vendor RFIs in New CSN Planner Experience

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new tab called 'Vendors' on our new CSN Planner Experience. This tab will provide a comprehensive list of all the vendor requests also known as Request for Information (RFIs) you raised, which were previously only accessible through the Manage RFPs tab on the old UI.

The new tab view will enable you to view both venue requests and vendor requests on the same page, eliminating the need to switch back and forth between the old and the new experience.

Additionally, with this release, we will start listing the Requests for Information (RFIs) report under the Reports page on the new Planner experience.


Closing out with Instant Book Updates


Instant Book functionality for Guest users in Cvent Supplier Network

We are excited to announce the launch of the Instant Book experience for guest users of the Cvent Supplier Network. Previously, CSN users needed to have an existing account and be logged in to Cvent before you could view Instant Book rates and availability and complete a booking. Now guest users will be able to check rates and availability.

To complete a booking, users with an existing Cvent account will need to log-in and confirm your booking on the Checkout page. Guest users without an account will still be able to search for rates and availability, but before completing your booking you will be asked to first create an account.

After filling in the required fields and clicking on the Finish booking button, you must activate your account via multi-factor authentication (MFA).
