Starting with the new and improved saving process for the Simplified RFP User Profile in the Cvent Supplier Network's new experience.

Simplified RFP User Profile

We are excited to announce a new and simplified user profile-saving process that will make your RFP creation experience easier and more efficient. We understand that filling out user profile information every time you create an RFP can be tedious and time-consuming. That's why we have simplified the process for you.

We understand that filling out user profile information every time you create an RFP can be a tedious and time-consuming task. That's why we have simplified the process for you. With the new and improved saving process, you can now save your user profile information effortlessly, making the entire experience easier and more efficient.

How does it work?

When creating an RFP, you can now check the designated box to save your user information to your profile. This information will be securely stored and the next time you create a new RFP, your profile information will automatically come pre-filled, saving you time and effort.

This feature will not only streamline the RFP creation process but also ensure accuracy and consistency in your submissions.

We believe this enhancement will greatly benefit your experience using the New CSN Sourcing experience and make your experience even better. We are continuously striving to improve our platform and make it more user-friendly, and this is just one step towards that goal. Up next: Passkey - Sub-block Group Commerce

This feature is designed to cater primarily to Third Party Planners (TPPs), who are responsible for managing large multi-hotel events with complex and high-demand housing. However, it is also beneficial for any type of organization planner.


We understand that as a TPP, you often require advance deposits to guarantee room blocks in advance and minimize attrition. Therefore, we have incorporated functionality within Passkey specifically to track and manage these deposits for your convenience.

Collect credit cards and process payments as part of Passkey's block-request workflow

  • Credit cards can now be collected as part of the Public Block Request workflow and attached to a sub-block group.

  • Funds can then be charged to that credit card and used to apply to deposit fees when attendees make reservations into that sub-block group.

  • Credit cards and balances are managed on the Sub-Block Groups page.

Important notes

  • To enable this feature, please reach out to your Customer Success Advisor. It must be enabled on a per-customer basis.

  • This feature is available to customers with merchant accounts configured in Passkey.

  • Guarantee Types associated with applicable sub-block groups must be set to Other Pay. Otherwise, the attendees will pay the deposit fee themselves when making a reservation.
