Improved CVB Ads Placement during RFP Send Process
We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to the placement of CVB (Convention & Visitors Bureau) ads during the RFP send process.
What's Changed:
This update is designed to improve the visibility and adoption of CVB venues. Previously, in the New CSN Planner experience, CVB ads were less prominent as they were placed toward the end of the Review Venues step. Now, we have added a dedicated step called "Select CVBs".
Benefit:
The new "Select CVBs" step significantly enhances the user experience:
See a separate step where all available CVBs for their RFPs are listed.
Have the option to bulk-select all CVBs in one go.
Easily add CVB venues to their RFPs before proceeding.
This improvement increases the prominence of CVB ads, thereby boosting engagement and adoption rates. Ultimately, this leads to a more efficient and streamlined process for planners when selecting and including CVB venues in their proposals.
Reintroduced RFP Summary Email
We are excited to reintroduce a highly requested feature in the new CSN Planner experience—RFP Summary Emails!
What's Changed:
You can now receive a summary email whenever you send a message to a hotel. This feature, previously available in the legacy experience, has been redesigned for improved usage and seamless record-keeping. This update impacts event planners using the CSN platform, providing enhanced communication tracking and convenience.
Benefit:
The return of RFP Summary Emails enhances the user experience by ensuring you can maintain a clear record of your communications with hotels for future reference. This feature allows effortless tracking of conversations directly within your inbox and eliminates the need for manual copying or forwarding of messages. This enhancement directly responds to user feedback, underscoring our commitment to making the planning experience smoother and more efficient.
Improved System Errors in CSN Sourcing Experience
We are excited to announce the latest improvements in the CSN Sourcing experience, which aim to make your process smoother and more efficient when facing system errors.
What's Changed:
Previously, when users encountered an error in the system, there was no clear indication of whether an RFP had already been generated. As a result, we have significantly improved how errors are handled, ensuring a more seamless and transparent experience:
Error Handling When RFP is Created:
If an error occurs but the RFP has been created, you can continue working on it.
You will be informed about the failed sections, with the rest pre-filled.
If the error persists, we'll suggest contacting support, but your progress will be saved.
Error Handling When RFP is Not Created:
If an RFP creation fails, you will now see a "Try Again" button.
Clicking the button returns you to the RFP creation page with previous data pre-filled.
If the creation still fails, we will recommend contacting support.
Benefit:
This feature enhancement greatly improves your experience by:
Reducing Duplication of Work
Providing Clear Guidance
Ensuring Data Integrity
These improvements ensure a smoother, more efficient process for handling system errors, ultimately enhancing productivity and user satisfaction.
Enhanced RFP Form Session Timeout Experience
We are thrilled to announce an exciting improvement in the New CSN Sourcing experience: losing RFP form data due to session timeouts.
What's Changed:
Previously, if your session was logged out due to inactivity, users would lose any unsaved data on the RFP form. Now, if your session expires due to inactivity, when you log back in from the same page or browser, you will find your RFP form automatically pre-filled with the data you had entered before the session was logged out. This means you no longer need to worry about losing any progress—whether or not you had saved your data before the timeout.
Benefit:
No more lost data: Continue where you left off even if your session expires due to inactivity.
Seamless experience: Easily recover your unsaved data, improving workflow efficiency and reducing frustration.
