      Product & Solution Evolution Updates

We're always working to make our products and solutions better for our customers. Sometimes we need to retire older technology and features to support the best experience and incorporate new technology. Review the list below to stay in the know about current, evolving technology and any actions you may need to take.

      1. Meet Cvent Assistant - As of June 19, our Community chat agent "Valerie" has been replaced by Cvent Assistant. Cvent Assistant is the improved AI-supported experience designed to help users get answers faster and provide streamlined access to support.

      2. New Custom Domain Provider - We’re upgrading custom domains to a newer, more modern provider. Customers on the legacy custom domain setup are being moved to our new Custom Domain Provider to deliver a more current and scalable experience. Effective from June 30.

      3. New Navigation - The New Navigation experience is now the standard. As of July 1, our phased rollout to a more intuitive way to navigate the Cvent platform is complete.

      4. Cvent Payments - We’re moving to more modern payment options. If using the legacy Cvent Payment Services (CPS), you should be moving to Cvent Payments or other supported gateway. All legacy CPS transactions must be completed by December 1, 2026. Also, no new/copied CPS-linked events can be created after July 29.

      5. Payflow Pro alternatives – Cvent Payments, PPCP, or other newer gateway payment solutions are available as PayPal Payflow Pro is being retired. Existing events already using PFP will continue as-is. After August 31, no new Payflow events can be created.

      6. Events+ for Contact Website - A more powerful web experience is available in Events+. Contact Website customers should begin rebuilding their experiences in Events+, where they can take advantage of a more modern and enhanced events experience going forward. Available from August 31, 2026.

      7. OnArrival Badge Designer - Badge design is evolving. Customers should transition to the OnArrival Badge Designer, which will be the go-forward solution for badge creation. Customers with saved badge templates or event-copy workflows should update those before year-end to ensure a smooth transition.

      8. Events+ Event Calendars - Event calendars are moving into Events+ for a more modern experience. Going forward, calendars should be created and hosted in Events+, which will serve as the new home for this experience after the Events Calendar site designer transition on November 2, 2026.
