Embeddable Sponsor Widget
We are excited to introduce the Embeddable Sponsor Widget, a feature that allows you to seamlessly showcase sponsors on external websites. This enhancement aims to improve sponsor visibility, drive engagement, and ensure alignment with your brand strategy.
Benefits
Enhanced Marketing: Promote sponsors effectively to drive event registrations and fulfill sponsorship obligations.
Streamlined content management: Embedded widget ensures that any edits or additions are instantly visible wherever the widget is placed, freeing you from the tedious task of manual updates on multiple sites.
Consistent Branding: Maintain a cohesive brand experience across all marketing websites/pages.
How to Get Started
Add sponsor widget to the Event Website: Ensure that the sponsor widget is added to the event website. This widget, by default, will be used as a reference for the embed version. (If you have the sponsor widget present on the event website more than once, you can choose which one is used as a reference by selecting "Enable widget to be embedded" for the sponsor widget.)
Navigate to Marketing > Embedded Widgets
Create and Configure Your Widget: Follow the intuitive steps to create, customize, and configure your sponsor widget.
Customize Logo: The sponsor widget on the site editor allows you to customize the widget settings, such as logo sizes and header text.
Embed on Your Website: Copy the embed code and add it to your external event website.
Notes
The Embed Sponsor feature requires Website and Exhibitor Management to be enabled in the Event.
Only one Sponsor widget on the site designer can be set as embeddable at a time. In the case of multiple Sponsor widgets, you will have to make one embeddable using the toggle in the widget on the site designer.
Override Advanced Rules on the Manage Hotel Requests Page
With this enhancement, you will now be able to choose whether or not to apply the "Hotel Request Advanced Rules" on the "Manage Hotel Requests" page based on your specific event's requirements. Previously, advanced rules applied to all planner and attendee interactions, and you couldn't override them on the Manage Hotel Requests page, which sometimes was overly restrictive.
This will enable you to override the rules on this page when updating existing hotel requests. This will help manage any exceptions for your attendees' hotel requests without having to disable the rules for all invitees. Also, since this is now configurable for each rule, you can choose which ones should be applied on the "Manage Hotel Requests" page and which ones should be bypassed.
You can control this setting by going to Registration > Advanced Rules > select the rule > Edit > Change the setting "Apply this rule on the Manage Hotel Requests page" to Yes/No > Save. If "No" is selected, you will be able to modify hotel requests on the Manage Hotel Requests page without the rule applying.
Things to Note:
This change will only prevent the advanced rule from applying on the "Manage Hotel Requests" page. The rule will still be applied across the following planner and attendee interactions:
New Hotel Request (Planner and Guest-side)
Hotel Request Modification (Planner and guest-side)
Planner-side Travel Modification
The setting will be available for all existing rules and the new rules created after the release
It will be set to "No" by default.
This setting is only available for the rules of the type: Hotel Request
Users with "Full Access" to the permission "Registration Process & Travel" will be able to modify this setting
Exhibitor Management
Exhibitor Management - Exhibitor Task Linking
With this update to Exhibitor Management, you can insert Exhibitor Portal page links into Tasks. When clicked, these links open the assigned page in the Exhibitor Portal where the task should be completed. You can use this feature to guide exhibitors to where they need to go to complete their tasks. This feature intends to bolster task management capabilities and help your exhibitors complete their tasks.
How Does It Work?
You can add a link to an Exhibitor Portal page when creating or editing a task. When an exhibitor opens the task in the Exhibitor Portal, clicking on the link will take the exhibitor to the page you inserted.
Important Information
Only supports pages in the Exhibitor Portal; external links have their own option for a task.
You can link any page, but exhibitors will only see the link in the task if they have access to that page
Default tasks will automatically contain page links (default tasks created before this release will not)
You can swap page links at any time or remove an existing link
This update is backward compatible with legacy tasks
