Let's make managing sessions and exhibitors easier with these exciting updates!

Top News: Exhibitor Catalog Widget and more

The product team has 2 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

  1. Exhibitor Catalog Widget on Event Website - We are excited to introduce the new Exhibitor Catalog Widget, a widget designed to help promote event exhibitors. This feature allows you to display exhibitors from the exhibitor portal, enhancing your event website and increasing attendance.

    Key Features:

    • Automatically display exhibitor logos and details right from your exhibitor database. No more manual uploading of individual images—save time and reduce the risk of errors.

    • Ensure a seamless viewing experience across all devices with a fully responsive widget. Attendees can browse exhibitor catalogs on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices with ease.

    • Search and Filter Capabilities: It will enable attendees to search for specific exhibitors or filter by categories, sponsorship levels, and exhibitor custom fields, making it easier to find relevant exhibitors.

    • Real-Time Updates: Automatically update the exhibitor catalog as new exhibitors are added or existing details are modified.

    Getting Started:

To start using the Exhibitor Catalog Widget, follow these simple steps:

    1. Navigate to the Product Information section on the build panel in the site designer on the Website pages. Add it to a website page.

    1. Customize the design, and interactive elements to match your event’s branding.

    1. Save your changes and publish the widget to make it live on your website.

  2. Search Bar Added to Session List - You will now be able to search for sessions on the session list by the session name, allowing you to find the sessions you need much more quickly than browsing through the full list of sessions. The search bar can search the entire session list by typing the name or part of the name (2-character minimum is necessary) and pressing enter. The results are a refined list of sessions based on the provided search parameters.

2 additional improvements to make your job easier

If you thought the above items are exciting, wait until you see what else the team plans to release in the next launch window:

  • Association of transactions to orders in REST API - An array of order.ids will now be available on the List Transactions REST API endpoint. Previously, there was no direct way to identify the relationship between transactions and orders, but with this enhancement developers can now easily link a transaction to the order it was used to pay for. This enhancement will make it easier for customers to gather transaction information and its corresponding order specific data for their financial and bookkeeping needs.

  • Onsite Payment collection with Cvent Payments - With this release, we will be supporting a new OnArrival Payment Reader for onsite collection, as well as Tap to Pay on iPhone. The new reader will support both contactless and chip credit cards. This will enable staff onsite to reduce wait times with the check in & registration process, and will allow attendees to use contactless cards to process payments onsite.
