Top News: UTM Parameters with Weblinks and more

The product team has 2 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

1. Using UTM Parameters with Cvent Weblinks -
   You will now be able to append UTM parameters on Cvent Event Weblinks for traceability and visibility into the campaign streams being used across the event. While we were already storing UTM parameter details passed for campaigns, now you can append their event weblinks directly in Cvent in order to be able to easily see all weblinks in one place. UTM parameters can easily be added by manually entering in the creation process of a weblink, or pasting a query string for pre-existing campaigns.

   

2. Custom Domain Enhancement - If you have the Cvent Branding Package, you will now be able to implement Vanity URLs that, when accessed by attendees, will be free from additional characters. Previously, additional characters were appended to provide context of the specific event.

   Custom Domains (or Vanity URLs) are utilized as a part of a branding strategy by marketing users and event organizers to promote and encourage brand trust for organizers' event programs.
