Top News: Exhibitor Packages and more

The product team has 2 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

  1. Exhibitor Packages - Previously, you had to individually assign features, tasks, and other components to exhibitors. Now, you can create unique packages, which can include specific features and consumables for your event. Once created, simply assign one or more packages to the exhibitors to ensure they have everything they need to be successful at your event.

    Important Things to Know:

    • Packages are designed to quickly assign exhibitor features, exhibitor tasks, registration packages, and LeadCapture licenses to exhibitors.

    • An Exhibitor can have multiple packages assigned to them.

    • If you decide to remove an exhibitor from a package, there is no impact on their settings, tasks, registration packs, or LeadCapture Licenses. These settings remain intact even after the removal, but you can still manually edit at the exhibitor level. However, if an exhibitor has been removed from a specific package, they cannot be reassigned to the same one.

    • You can override settings applied by packages from the Settings tab in Exhibitor Management.

    • If an assigned package is later modified, those changes are not applied retroactively.

  2. Multiple Sponsorship Level Support for Exhibitors - In the past, sponsors were restricted to only a single sponsorship level. With this update, you can now assign multiple sponsorships to sponsors and have them be reflected in the Exhibitor Portal, Attendee Hub, and the Event App. This represents a great sponsorship opportunity for sponsors seeking greater exposure.

1 additional improvement to make your job easier

If you thought the above items are exciting, wait until you see what else the team plans to release in the next launch window:

  • List Orders and List Order Items REST API Updates - The amount ordered, paid, and due are now available for the List Orders endpoint. Previously, these fields were only returned for List Order Items, requiring you to add up the amounts across all the order items for one attendee to get an accurate total for an amount that was paid or still due. The Fee Name and ID will also be available for the List Order Items endpoint, which will allow you to see which fee was applied to each order item.
