Top News: Discount Code Updates and more

The product team has 3 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

  1. Discount Code Enhancements -

Get ready for a series of exciting enhancements made to Event-level Discount Codes including searching discount codes, expanded import capabilities and new export options. These updates are designed to provide greater flexibility and streamline the overall Discount Code management process.

    • Search on the Discount Code Homepage:

Managing a large number of discount codes can be challenging and tedious. To simplify this process, you can search by Discount Name and Discount Code on the Discount codes homepage.

    • Expanded Import Capacities:

You can now import up to 1000 event-level Discount Codes at a time versus the previous limit of 250 discounts. This enhancement accelerates uploading discount codes, making it easier than ever to maintain an event's discount structure.

    • New Export Discounts option under Actions menu:

A new "Export Discounts" option has been added under the Actions menu, allowing you to choose some or all event-level discounts and export them for further updates. This export is designed to specifically export event-level discount codes. Account-level discounts & volume discounts cannot be exported via this option & will be disabled for selection.

  2. Ability to Modify Invitees' Flight Information -

You are now able to directly modify the flight information entered by the registrants using any of the flight widgets during registration, including Flight Requests, Air Actuals, and Group Flights. For example, if you need to change the flight dates or the airport location for a registrant's flight, you can go directly to the travel page and modify those details. Previously, you needed to navigate through all the registration pages to make that change. You can make these modifications by clicking on the "Manage Travel" option on the Registration dropdown on the invitee page.

Once you click on "Manage Travel," you will be redirected to the registration page with the travel widget. In case there are multiple travel widgets (including hotel widget) and they are spread across multiple pages, you would land on the first page with the travel widget upon clicking the "Manage Travel" option. You can click on the Next button on the page to navigate to the other pages with the travel widgets. During the modification flow, planners are now able to do the following:

    • Modify existing flights

    • Add new flights

    • Cancel existing requests/bookings

    • Answer applicable questions/ alternate questions

    • Input travel credit card (if applicable to the flight requests)

    • Submit payments and refunds generated based on the changes made during the modification (for Group Flights)

  3. Hide Exhibitor Booth Staff -

With this update, planners and exhibitor admins will now be able to select which booth staff members are displayed or hidden. Previously when booth staff were associated to an exhibitor, they were always visible on their exhibitor page in Attendee Hub. However, there might be scenarios where exhibitor admins want to invite non-booth staff members to an event, and don't want those members to be displayed under Booth Staff on the Exhibitor page.

6 additional improvements to make your job easier

If you thought the above items are exciting, wait until you see what else the team plans to release in the next launch window:
