Top News: Switching Languages with Event Copy and more

The product team has 3 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

1. Switching the Base Language on Event Copy - You can now select a new base language when copying an existing event or event template. Custom texts and translations will be transferred into the new event. This provides more flexibility to those who manage multiple event templates or host events in a variety of locales.

   

2. Video Storage Enforcement for Exhibitors - All customers have been given 200GB of video file storage. If the customers are close to this limit, they can either delete and manage videos or purchase additional storage for their account.

   We will now restrict you from uploading new videos to exhibitors when storage limits are reached.

   

3. First and Last Name Mandatory for Registration - We are making both the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields required for both guests and invitees. This means that for all future events, these fields will be mandatory, and you will not be able to make them optional or read-only from the widgets. However, they can still choose to make them read-only via registration path configurations. For all existing events, we have added a soft validation on the site editor publish to suggest you make these mandatory before launching.
