Registration
Additional Support for Custom Identity Confirmation
We are thrilled to announce that you will now be able to use custom identity confirmation while registering attendees from the planner-side. Before this release, the Custom Identity Confirmation (CID) feature could only be used to fetch attendee details when registering from the guest side.
Custom identity confirmation is a feature that allows you to use third-party data sources like Salesforce, Marketo, etc., as external contact books. With this release we will make it easier for you to perform such registrations from planner-side itself, saving time and improving the overall experience.
Use the "Register Attendee" button and initiate planner-side registration. If you have custom integration configured for the selected path, the system will automatically use the integration to fetch invitee data.
The invitee data will be fetched and pre-populated as soon as the planner is redirected to the guest side view as part of the planner side registration process.
We have only added support for using the CID feature from planner-side. No changes have been made to the existing CID workflows from guest-side right now.
Cvent Salesforce App v8.5 - Enhanced Capabilities
The Cvent Salesforce App 8.5 update introduces new features to enhance flexibility and efficiency. You can now select specific events whose attendees they want to sync rather than sync all updated events. Additionally, the update adds the Invitation List Name field to the Attendee object for improved data management.
Exhibitor Management
Exhibitor Management Visual Refresh
With this release, we are rolling out a visual refresh of Exhibitor Management. This update aligns Exhibitor Management's design with the user experience standard in Cvent’s core platform, delivering a more cohesive and seamless experience.
All existing functionality, workflows, and settings remain unchanged, ensuring you can continue managing and configuring your events with the same efficiency and effectiveness.
