      Registration

Enhanced security for credit card data in reports

What's Changed: An important update to how credit card numbers are displayed in reports. This applies only when collecting a "Travel Credit" card that can be shared with your travel partners, hotels, etc., or when using a credit card for offline processing.

Benefit: This change enhances security by protecting sensitive card data.

Switch Registration Type Before Approving Registration

What's Changed: The Registration Type can now be updated before approving registrations.

Benefit: Ensure that registrants are assigned the correct registration type prior to registration approval and enhance event control and flexibility.

      GET Endpoints for Optional Items

What's Changed: API Users can now fetch Optional item data for their events.

Benefit: These additions are designed to provide better flexibility and control over retrieving specific data points, enhancing your ability to manage optional items more effectively. This new functionality will be made possible through two new REST API endpoint offerings :

      • List Quantity Item - A get endpoint allowing users to fetch the quantity items present in an event.

      • List Donation Item - A get endpoint allowing users to fetch the donation items present in an event.

Admin Registration via OAuth and SAML UL

What's Changed: OAuth and UL SAML now supports Admin Registration.

Benefit: This feature ensures administrators can also register with the authentication workflow, and the correct fields are pre-filled during registration, saving time for administrators who register themselves or others.

Hiding the Refund Section when Refund Amount is $0

What's Changed: Registrants will no longer see the refund section if they remove items during modification or cancel their registration when the refund total is $0.

Benefit: This change avoids unnecessary information display and eliminates confusion when no refund policies apply to the event (or items that are unregistered.)

The section outlined in red will no longer be visible when the total refund amount is $0:

      Exhibitor Management

      Exhibitor Booth Management

What's Changed: This feature streamlines the booth management process by enabling planners to create exhibitor booths and share an up-to-date event floor plan with their exhibitors via the Exhibitor Portal.

      • Booth Creation and Management: Create or import a list of their event booths by entering details like Name, Size, and Description.

      • Exhibitor Floor Plan: Adds floor plans by uploading an image of the exhibitor floor plan and placing the booth pins on it.

      • Settings for Enhanced Control: Additional controls in Exhibitor Management

      • Booth Requests by Exhibitor: Now, the exhibitor can see the event floor plan in their portal and the booth that has been assigned to them.

      • Planner Approval: You can see the requests that have come on the booths and can either approve or reject the requests on the booth or on the map

      • Exhibitor visibility on Floor Plan to Attendee: The floor plan created is seamlessly synced with the Attendee Hub floor plan.

Benefit: Exhibitors can view available booths, allowing them to either select or request their preferred booth, as configured by the Planner. Exhibitor booth management provides robust workflows for planning, customization, and allocation of booths, ensuring a seamless experience for both planners and exhibitors.
