Country Name Updates
Cvent is updating the official spelling of the following countries across our platform:
Czech Republic to Czechia
Swaziland to Eswatini
Cape Verde to Cabo Verde
United States Minor Outlying Islands to United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands)
As a global company committed to adhering to international standards and regulations, this change aligns with the International Standard Organization’s (ISO) guidelines for country names, ensuring consistency and accuracy in our system. The ISO, an international non-governmental organization that sets global standards, mandates this update to reflect the official naming convention of Czechia, Eswatini, Cabo Verde, and the United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands).
Things to know
The country names for "Czech Republic", "Swaziland", "Cape Verde", and "United States Minor Outlying Islands" will now be represented as "Czechia", "Eswatini", "Cabo Verde," and "United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands)" throughout the Cvent platform, respectively. This update applies to the instances where country names are displayed within the product.
For existing registrants and contacts who have selected any of these countries, the field will display the updated value.
This change does not affect any functionality; it is purely a naming convention update to comply with international standards.
The REST object definitions and country codes remain unchanged. However, clients using the Cvent REST API will see the updated value for the country if users or attendees have selected it in the product.
Please allow up to 48 hours from the release date for the changes to be reflected across the entire platform.
Segment Invitee History Report
As Audience Segments continue to expand across the platform, especially with the increased use of rule-based dynamic segments, you need clear visibility into how invitees move in and out of segments over time to ensure segments perform as intended to personalize communication and content.
Earlier this year, we introduced a dedicated page that enables you to review segment associations on a per-invitee basis, providing clarity on how individual invitees were added, removed, or excluded from segments. We’re now extending that transparency with the new Segment Invitee History Report, a downloadable event-level export that consolidates the full audit trail of invitee–segment changes in one place. This provides a scalable method for validating rule behavior, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring segments perform as expected throughout the event lifecycle.
A downloadable report providing a full audit log of how each invitee interacted with each segment over time.
Includes segment details, whether an invitee was Added, Removed, or Skipped, along with timestamps and reasons.
Review invitee–segment associations across the entire event in a single export.
Includes data from Aug 26th, 2025 onward, retained for the last 6 months.
The report is available only within the event and not available as a cross events.
How to Use
Go to your event’s Reports section.
Select “Download Segment Invitee History.”
Download the CSV containing up to 6 months of audit data (starting Aug 26, 2025).
Review details such as:
Segment name
Invitee's name
Action type (Added, Removed, Skipped)
Timestamp
Details (Reason for action)
Use additional contact fields and available advanced filters to further refine and analyze the data.
TouchNet ACTION: Whitelist Return URLs in UPay Site
[Action Required]: TouchNet has implemented a change to all uPay sites, which will soon require redirect URLs (domain name only) to be whitelisted for the success, cancel, and failure destinations.
While TouchNet has not yet finalized a deadline for this requirement, it is recommended to whitelist "cvent.com" as soon as possible, ahead of the enforcement. Failure to do so will lead to payment failures.
Step 1: Confirm that the following return URLs are updated as required in the uPay site:
Return URL: https://io.cvent.com/pwa/redirect/touchnetinbound
Success URL: https://io.cvent.com/pwa/redirect/touchnetinbound?result=success
Cancel URL: https://io.cvent.com/pwa/redirect/touchnetinbound?result=cancel
Failure URL: https://io.cvent.com/pwa/redirect/touchnetinbound?result=failure
Step 2: Configure "cvent.com" as a whitelisted redirection URL on the 'General' settings area of your TouchNet uPay site:
