      ⛕ Integrations Processing Improvements

      What’s new:
We’ve upgraded how Splash processes integration data behind the scenes. This improves how messages are handled across high-volume integrations, including:

      • HTTP

      • Zoom

      • Marketo

      • Cvent Solutions

      Why it matters:

Your integrations will run more reliably—even during spikes in activity.

      • Fairness: If someone else is sending a large amount of data, it won't slow you down. Our system makes sure everyone gets a fair turn.

      • Efficiency: Your data get processed quickly and smoothly, without long waits.

      • Scalability: No matter how many people are using the system, it can handle the load and keep things moving.

      Dive Deeper:

These Splash integrations now use Amazon SQS Fair Queues to process messages more evenly across customers—especially when one customer is sending a lot of traffic. Key features of SQS fair queues:

      • Dynamic Monitoring: SQS continuously tracks message distribution and identifies "noisy neighbors" (tenants with high message volumes) to maintain balance.

      • Prioritized Processing: Messages from quieter tenants are prioritized, ensuring they are processed promptly without long wait times.

      • Sustained Throughput: The system maintains high throughput, processing messages from all tenants as capacity allows, without imposing consumption limits.

Example: If one customer sends a large spike of data, it won’t create delays for others. Your integrations continue processing smoothly—even during peak load.

This is part of our ongoing initiative to improve how our integrations process data, ensuring you get the data you need efficiently. The team will continue to optimize the integration processing for the remaining integrations in Splash.
