Top News: Cvent Payments, Reporting Updates, and more

The product team has 3 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

1. Cvent Payments - Cvent Payments is the evolution of our CPS offering, to improve the management, accounting, and automation of payment processing end-to-end. We have updated the following:

   • Allow you to manage your own merchant account and bank account updates, eliminating the need for Cvent team members to handle sensitive data

   • Display banners/alerts for setup errors or if payouts have failed

   • Automate payouts to customer bank accounts on a weekly basis

   • Automate the reserve and refund balance calculations, and provides visibility to customers

   • Automate the sales tax calculation on a per-transaction basis (where applicable by state)

   • Automatic payout of reserves 2 weeks after the event ends

   • Provide improved reporting and accounting by consolidating 4 reports into 1: event revenue, payouts, taxes, and reserves

   • NOTE: This will be released starting July 19

2. Google Analytics 4 - You will be able to use the latest and greatest version of Google Analytics to track and report on their conversion metrics.

   

3. Report List Redesign - We’re making it even easier for you to access your most important reports and event data. This means some changes to the user interface of all Cvent report lists. We’re also standardizing event report names and descriptions and organizing them in a way so you can quickly identify the right report to fulfill your data needs.
