The product team has been working hard to deliver features that aim to maximize efficiency and minimize tedious processes. In this window, see below for an exciting new Budget Management update!

New REST API Endpoint for Reading Budget Allocations

We have added a new feature called "List Budget Allocations" that allows developers to retrieve a list of allocation cost amounts for different budget items in an event. This helps users understand which budget items are associated with specific allocation categories. For example, if the Marketing and Sales departments are each responsible for 50% of the cost of a "meeting venue" budget item, the internal financial team can easily determine where to allocate department charges based on the actual costs. Developers can also access allocation notes for each allocation within the budget item. The feature includes filters such as Budget Version ID, Budget Item ID, Allocation Category ID, Allocation Subcategory ID, General Ledger ID, and Allocated Value.
