The product team has two big enhancements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:

Manage Budgets for Simple Meetings within Access Portal

The release of Simple Budget is a major milestone for Access Portal, empowering users to manage budgets for their simple meetings. Occasional planners can source meeting rooms and guest rooms within Access Portal and now track expenses in a self-serve fashion. Simple Budget benefits the central planning team by providing insight into event spend for more of their event program and alleviating the number of events they have to manage.

When the occasional planner submits a meeting request that meets the organization's Simple Meeting policy, a "Manage Event" link will display in the Access Portal Request & Event list.

The Budget Summary section on the event page shows the occasional planner the current budgeted and actual totals, as well as a breakdown that shows whether they are over or under budget.

The budget grid on the Manage Budget page allows occasional planners to view and edit existing budget items, create new budget items, and export the budget to share with stakeholders.

Access Portal User Groups - Faster Page Loads and Easier Navigation

The planner-side Access Portal User Group page has been redesigned to enhance the overall user experience. The page loads more quickly now and it's easier than ever for portal managers to add and remove users from groups.

The Associated Users tab includes an enhanced table that allows portal managers to easily search, sort, and filter the list of users in the group. This significantly improves the performance of the page, especially for groups with a lot of users.

When adding or removing users from the group, there is a new "Selected Users" filter that is available when one or more users have been selected. This feature can be useful after selecting multiple users from a long list to ensure all the desired users have been selected.
