The product team has been working hard to deliver features that maximize efficiency and minimize tedious processes. In this launch window, we have one exciting update within our Spend & Workflow product suite.
Meeting Request Form
API Integration Name Added to Meetings Management Audit Logs
What's Changed: The 'Submitted By' and 'Last Modified By' fields in meeting request audits now identify the specific custom API integration that called these endpoints, replacing the previous "Guest User" value. The API integration name, found in Cvent's Developer Portal under the Application tab, can be updated via the settings button. This name now appears throughout Cvent, including the status history modal and various reports, such as the Basic Information section of submitted meeting requests, Status History Modal, Event Audit History Cross Event Report, Meeting Request Details Cross Event Report, Meeting Request Change History Admin Report, and Meeting Request Extract Admin Report.
Benefit: This update enhances audit capabilities and transparency for Cvent planners and administrators by distinguishing between API calls and UI submissions.
