Spotlight: New Cvent Center for Event Insights
Introduction
Great events have always been about people. Today, technology is reshaping how those people connect, plan, and create unforgettable experiences. The Cvent Center for Event Insights works uniquely at the intersection of events, hospitality and technology; unlocking research, best practices and ideas that move the industry forward.
The people behind events are asking big questions: How is AI changing my work? Where should I invest my time and budget? How do I show that events deliver real results? We launched the Center for Event Insights at IMEX America in October to help answer them. It draws on more than 25 years of experience powering nearly 10 million events, and it exists for one purpose: to put research, ideas, and best practices into the hands of the people doing the work.
What the Center offers the industry
Original research that gives you real data to benchmark against and learn from.
Convenings and conversations that bring industry voices together to share what's working.
Best-practices so teams can learn from one another and move forward with confidence.
What this means for you
The Center's first two reports were created with practitioners in mind:
Event Performance Landscape in the Age of AI is a study the Center commissioned from Forrester Consulting, surveying 459 director-level and above marketing and event leaders. It found that 70% believe events are becoming more critical as AI makes content easier to produce. It also found a gap worth knowing about: 59% of event leaders now use AI, but only 26% say it has made a significant difference. Use it to make the case for events inside your organization.
Less Mindless, More Meaningful: What AI Is Actually Taking From Event Work, co-produced with Meeting Professionals International (MPI), looks at AI task by task. It helps you see where AI can lighten the load, and where your judgment, relationships, and creativity matter most.
Both reports aim to help you spend more time on the moments that make events unforgettable.
