In this special post, we're excited to share improved core reporting insights, capabilities, and dashboard features to help you get the most out of your Cvent experience.

Make sure to check out Reporting improvements

We hope you’re already benefiting from updates to our reporting capabilities over the past few months. These updates make it easier for you to find and surface your event data and showcase your event's impact with boardroom-ready reports that are simple to share. See highlights below.

“Registration Overview” Dashboard Page

New comprehensive dashboard —with easy-to-read graphs/charts—providing insights into your registration numbers, including:

  • Monitor Registration & Check-ins widgets: These widgets show registration/check-in graphs over time, allowing you to track your progress quickly.

  • Follow up with the Invitees widget: This widget lets you view invitees who have not yet responded and their status counts (waitlist, pending, denied, canceled).

  • Track Session Registrations widgets: Charts displaying registration numbers by types, admission items, and audience segments to provide audience insights and identify returning vs new attendees. Plus, we added on July 24 a new toggle ON/OFF view to dynamically display revenue figures.

  • Compare Sessions Data: This modal compares session performance data side-by-side with up to 3 events, allowing one to select the baseline event with automatically generated trends.

  • Compare Registration Data: This modal compares event registration data side-by-side with up to 3 events, with trends automatically identified (launched on July 24).

  • Easy PDF download option: This option conveniently turns your dashboard into a PDF for quick sharing with executives and team members.

Report Template List Redesign

In addition to cleaning up names, descriptions, and categories of existing report templates for standardization, we’re also introducing the following updates:

  • Always Visible Descriptions: Template descriptions will always be visible.

  • Collapsible Categories: Tailor your view by collapsing categories you’re not using. Your selections will carry over to all of your events.

  • Surfaced Actions: Ability to edit selection fields/criteria using the pencil icon before running a report.

  • There are no more presets: Preset reports will now be viewed as Individual reports to save time when accessing your reports.

  • Snapshot Report History: View all unexpired previously scheduled reports/snapshot requests under “View Report History."

And there's more....we’re not done yet! Also in development is our new “Build-your-own-Reports” interface, which will allow you to create a completely custom report specific to your exact needs. We will be releasing this in 2024, so stay tuned to Product News for the roadmap and release of news updates.

Use Cases

We know it's critical for you to share the most pertinent data with your teams and quickly. It can't be done with Excel alone. These improvements allow your executives to quickly understand event performance -- pre-, during, and post-event -- so you can act or adjust at any time with data that is easier to gather, understand, and communicate across your teams from planner to CEO.
