In this highlight, we're reviewing a couple of the most exciting releases around Trade Show Solutions (i.e: iCapture and Jifflenow)!

Jifflenow: User Experience Updates

We have recently announced multiple enhancements we're releasing to improve overall user experience in the Jifflenow platform. See below for a brief description of these three enhancements:

1. Refresh Button in Master Calendar

A new Refresh icon in the Master Calendar lets users easily update their view for the latest information, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency. Enjoy a smoother, more intuitive experience!

2. Retiring 24-Hour Setting for Engagement Type Availability

We are retiring the 24-Hour setting for Engagement Type Availability, as the new UI allows easier management and the demand for this setting has decreased with the return of in-person events. This change aims to reduce support requests and streamline the user experience for Meeting Managers.

3. Configuration-Driven Embedded IRP

We are transitioning the Embedded IRP to a configuration-driven model for enhanced security, setting x-frame options to OFF by default and allowing activation only when necessary. This change prioritizes user data protection while maintaining flexibility and ensuring a secure, user-friendly experience.

Expected Release Date: 15 Nov, 2024

iCapture: Leads & Devices UI Updates

The iCapture Back Office Leads & Devices pages have been redesigned to enhance user experience for Event managers. The makeover prioritizes relevant information, such as data downloads, field corrections, and event lead management.

Previously, the Captured Data section lacked details about lead destination and audience, but now this information is displayed if defined in the client's account. Additionally, lead statuses are color-coded for easier review: red indicates errors in integration, email address, or badge API; yellow indicates incomplete lead data; blue indicates ongoing processing of transcription or post-show merge; and green indicates a complete capture with no issues.

Also, the Lead Preview Modal is now improved to show more detail on the integration and organize the lead data to align with the rest of their iCapture experience.

The Devices Page has been updated to align with the overall iCapture Back Office experience. The improvements include color-coded device data and statuses for enhanced understanding and management. These UI updates simplify the User Experience and align legacy features with the rest of the iCapture Product.

How to Access the New Feature:

  • This feature is automatically enabled for all client accounts at no additional cost.

These enhancements aim to give you more control over your event experience. Event managers can now easily manage lead data and devices in one place.

Release Date: 2 October, 2024

Jifflenow: Enhanced Mobile App Functionality

To enhance the user experience and align the capabilities of the Jifflenow mobile app with the web version, several new features have been introduced. These updates enable Meeting Requesters and Internal Participants to create and manage availability links directly from the mobile app. The enhacements aim to address previous inconsistencies between the Jifflenow mobile app and web version, providing a more unified user experience.

  1. Share Link Tab: A new tab has been added next to IRP/Consecutive meetings within an instance, allowing users to access share link options directly from the mobile app.

  2. List of Shared Links: Users can now view a list of all shared links for a selected instance, making it easier to manage and reference them.

  3. Share Link Filters: Filtering options are available to refine and locate specific share links as needed.

  4. Link Details: Users can access detailed information about each shared link, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  5. Create Link: Users can create new share links directly from the mobile app, enhancing flexibility and usability.

  6. Personal Link Option: The menu provides a separate option for managing personal links, simplifying access and organization.

  7. Booking Flow: Users will navigate through a streamlined mobile booking flow when booking a meeting, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience.

How to Access the New Features:

  • Update your Jifflenow mobile app to the latest version to take advantage of these new features.
