Trade Show Solutions News for 15 November 2024
The product team has been working hard to deliver features for iCapture and Jifflenow that enhance your ability to capture and follow up on the highest quality leads. See below for three exciting new releases for Jifflenow.
As a reminder: Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence for the near future as we continue to work on aligning product release development work over time. Due to this, we are sharing releases that are estimated to happen shortly after November 13th.
1. Jifflenow: User Experience Updates
We are excited to announce multiple enhancements to improve overall user experience in the platform:
1. Refresh Button in Master Calendar
A new Refresh icon in the Master Calendar lets users easily update their view for the latest information, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency. Enjoy a smoother, more intuitive experience!
2. Retiring 24-Hour Setting for Engagement Type Availability
We are retiring the 24-Hour setting for Engagement Type Availability, as the new UI allows easier management and the demand for this setting has decreased with the return of in-person events. This change aims to reduce support requests and streamline the user experience for Meeting Managers.
3. Configuration-Driven Embedded IRP
We are transitioning the Embedded IRP to a configuration-driven model for enhanced security, setting x-frame options to OFF by default and allowing activation only when necessary. This change prioritizes user data protection while maintaining flexibility and ensuring a secure, user-friendly experience.
Expected Release Date: 15 Nov 2024
2. Jifflenow: Bulk User Removal Option
Meeting Managers currently face challenges when attempting to remove multiple users from an event, as they must visit each user's profile individually. This process leads to numerous app support tickets for bulk removals. To combat this, we are introducing a Bulk Option to simplify the removal of users from the event user list. After the removal, users will receive an email detailing the action.
Expected Release Date: 15 Nov 2024
3. Jifflenow: Change Engagement Type Enhancements
Currently, users face restrictions when changing the engagement type for scheduled meetings due to the system's requirement that specific settings (such as topic, approval process, and mappings) must match the current and target engagement types. This limitation reduces user choice and flexibility. To address this issue, we are removing the constraint that requires the approval process to be similar between the source and target engagement types. This change aims to enhance flexibility and improve the overall user experience.
Expected Release Date: 15 Nov 2024
