Trade Show Solutions Releases for January 29, 2025
The product team has been working hard to deliver features for iCapture and Jifflenow that enhance your ability to capture and follow up on the highest-quality leads. We wanted to share several exciting updates with you for this launch window, so see below!
As a reminder: Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence for the near future as we continue to work on aligning product release development work over time. Due to this, we are sharing releases that are estimated to happen shortly after January 29.
Jifflenow
Jifflenow for Outlook
Expected Release Date: 01/31/2025
What's Changed: We are excited to announce the launch of Jifflenow for Outlook, an add-in that allows Sales development representatives and other internal meeting requestors to schedule meetings and share their availability links directly from Microsoft Outlook. This integration removes the need to switch between the Jifflenow web app and email/calendar software, making your workflow more efficient. Users can access all the Event instances within their Outlook account, share availability via flexible links, and schedule meetings with one click.
Benefit: This feature allows faster scheduling directly within Outlook and ensures accurate meeting data with real-time sync. Flexible availability sharing enhances user experience by simplifying meeting management, leading to improved productivity and better event outcomes.
Double Request Capabilities
Expected Release Date: 01/31/2025
What's Changed: This new feature enables executives and their teams to handle overlapping meeting requests efficiently. Users can receive multiple requests for the same time slot, evaluate them, and decide which meeting to prioritize. Conflicting requests are auto-declined upon acceptance, with notifications sent for quick action. This feature includes event and user-level toggles, integration with external tools, and compatibility with sessions and external attendees.
Benefit: This feature optimizes scheduling by ensuring executives focus on high-priority meetings and improves decision-making for their teams. Clear notifications and auto-decline functionality improve communication and reduce ambiguity for all stakeholders.
Attendee Endorsement Feature Enhancements
Expected Release Date: 01/31/2025
What's Changed: We have updated the Endorsement Feature to enhance transparency, communication, and efficiency in scheduling meetings with executives. Users with endorsement privileges (Meeting Managers, EAs) can now approve or reject meeting requests, with a mandatory reason provided for rejections. Requestors receive real-time status updates, and calendar availability is managed more effectively by removing blocks upon rejection. Enhanced visibility and comprehensive meeting history documentation improve the overall process.
Benefit: This update improves transparency by clearly communicating endorsement requirements and decisions. It improves scheduling by preventing blocked calendars and optimizing executive availability. Better communication ensures requestors understand rejection reasons and can adjust their plans accordingly.
"Check-in & No-show Only" Privileges
Expected Release Date: 01/31/2025
What's Changed: The new "Check-in & No-show Only" user privilege is designed to simplify event operations. This privilege allows companies to assign temporary users, like contractors, to handle participant check-ins and no-shows without accessing other sensitive functionalities. Users can manage check-ins through various interfaces, and their access to scheduling or administrative functions is restricted.
Benefit: This update ensures smoother event management by enabling focused and secure workflows for temporary staff. It enhances security by limiting access to sensitive functionalities while maintaining efficient check-in processes through badge scanning and other interfaces.
