Attendee Hub

Community Meetings

Take advantage of the new Community Meetings in the Attendee Hub Event App for Appointments Premium events. You can let attendees create, discover, join, or leave topic-based meetings, choose a time and location, and keep those meetings visible in their event schedule.

Benefit:

You can give attendees more ways to connect around the conversations they care about, without having to plan every interaction yourself. You’ll also have visibility into Community Meetings through your existing appointment event reports, helping you understand engagement and shape future event content.

Save Connections to Native Address Book

Attendees can now tap an email address in their connections and instantly save that person as a contact on their device, without leaving the event app or manually re-entering anything.

What's Changed:

• When attendees tap a connection's email address in the Event App, they will now see a device-native modal instead of being sent directly into an email draft.

• If attendees select Create New Contact, the name, company, and email address will be pre-populated — no manual entry needed

Benefit:

Attendees can now easily transport the connection information they gathered during the event in their mobile devices and easily continue the conversation.

Engagement Transcript Report

Turn attendee chat into actionable event insights with downloadable Engagement Transcript Reports.

What's Changed:

• Export transcripts from both Discussion and Session Chat in Attendee Hub—so the conversations happening across your event are easier to review after the moment has passed.

• Select the exact Discussion Topic or Session you want to explore, then download its chat transcript with just a few clicks.

• Choose the format that fits your workflow: CSV for quick analysis or Excel (.xlsx) for sharing, sorting, and reporting.

• Give event organizers a clearer view of attendee questions, reactions, and feedback—without manually copying conversations from chat.

• Use exports to identify recurring themes, capture standout attendee quotes, and spot where engagement was strongest.

Benefit:

Your attendees are already sharing valuable feedback in chat. Now, you can bring those conversations beyond the event platform—making it easier to understand what resonated, surface memorable quotes, and inform future event decisions.

Train Travel in Dynamic Audience Segments

Target the right train travelers with Dynamic Segments—without exporting lists or manually filtering data.

What's Changed:

• Build Dynamic Segments using Train Request and Train Actual data when Train Travel is enabled for your event.

• Find invitees who have—or have not—submitted a Train Request. At launch, Submitted is the available request status.

• Identify invitees with a recorded Train Actual so you can send them final travel details.

• Combine train travel criteria with registration, company, and other segment rules using AND/OR logic.

• Keep audiences current automatically as Train Requests and Train Actuals are added or removed.

• Available for new and existing events with Train Travel enabled.

Benefit:

Give every traveler the right message at the right time. Create targeted lists for travel reminders, pre-event briefings, and final confirmations directly in Cvent—no spreadsheet exports, manual filtering, or separate lists to maintain.

Appointments Premium

Topic Based Networking (Community Meetings)

Help attendees turn shared interests into real event connections with self-created, topic-based meetings in the Attendee Hub Event App.

What's Changed:

• Attendees can create, discover, join, and leave topic-based Community Meetings.

• Meetings include a time, location, capacity, and AI-assisted description—and appear in My Schedule.

• Planners manage settings and promotion through Appointments Premium; conflict checks help attendees avoid double-booking.

• Available for Appointment Premium customers using Standard Appointment events in in-person and hybrid formats with Attendee Hub Event App version 2.3.

Benefit:

Make meaningful networking easier to find. Attendees can connect around the topics that matter to them, while planners create more ways to engage with less manual coordination—and see which conversations generate the most interest.
