Alternative Landing Pages for Event App

What’s Changed: Choose which screen attendees land on first when they open the Event App. Instead of always defaulting to the Home Page, you can now set the landing page to Home, My Event, or a specific Discussion Topic.

Benefit: This gives you more control over the attendee experience by tailoring the Event App’s first impression to the event's goals. Whether you want to guide attendees to a personalized view or drive engagement around a key conversation, you can now create a more relevant and intentional starting experience.

Improved Discoverability of Networking Actions on Attendee List

What’s Changed: The attendee list gets a fresh new card-style layout that surfaces richer context about each attendee and puts key networking actions front and center.

Benefit: This makes it easier for attendees to find the right people and reach out in the moment. Featuring improvements to attendee profile details, which give attendees a clearer picture of what they have in common with others, helping them make more informed decisions about who to connect with.

Exhibitor Resources & Personalized Messaging from LeadCapture

What’s Changed: Booth staff can now send personalized messages and collateral directly from LeadCapture, keeping leads warm while the conversation is still fresh. Attendees can return to those interactions (and the resources shared with them) anytime through Attendee Hub.

Benefit: For planners, in-app messaging activity and resource engagement provide measurable visibility into exhibitor performance, making it easier to demonstrate sponsor ROI.

      The speaker self-joins the stage

What’s Changed: Speakers can now join the stage independently, without waiting for a host to add them. This update gives speakers direct control over their stage presence while preserving full host authority — hosts retain the ability to add, manage, and remove speakers at any time.

Benefit: Live events rarely go exactly as planned. This feature allows more flexibility within the run of show.

      Date Change

      1. Magic Link for Branded Apps has been postponed, and a new release date is still being determined.

      Attendee Hub Event App Updates

See a summary of the app enhancements rolled out in each release window here.

Remember, Attendee Hub customers - If you have an active event between Wednesday and Sunday after this release date, you will not see these new features until Monday after the release. This is to ensure we are not releasing features into active, ongoing events.

      Webinar

      The speaker self-joins the stage

Speakers can now join the stage on their own, helping webinars stay on track when timing shifts

      What’s Changed:

      • Speakers can now join the stage independently, without waiting for a host to add them.

      • Hosts still maintain full control and can add, manage, and remove speakers at any time.

      • This update is designed to reduce friction in common live-event scenarios where the host-only workflow can create delays or bottlenecks.

      • It’s especially valuable for webinar hosts and speakers who need more flexibility during live sessions.

      Benefits:

Live webinars rarely go exactly to plan. Speaker Self-Join gives speakers more in-the-moment control, so they can get on stage faster and keep the session moving.

The result is smoother transitions, fewer hold-ups, and a more flexible run of show—without taking control away from hosts.
