What's Changed: Attach documents to a video so attendees can download supporting materials such as slides, handouts, and brochures directly from the video page. Documents are managed within Events+ alongside the existing Video Action Cards.  

Benefit: Create a richer viewing experience by placing supporting and related content alongside each video. Add PDFs, images, and slide decks to your Events+ hub to turn every video page into a destination of its own—one that deepens the content, completes the experience, and keeps the audience journey going long after the video ends.

Customizing Email Content

Expected Release: October 22, 2026

Give every event a consistent, on-brand email foundation—and let organizers personalize only the sections you choose.

What’s Changed

• Administrators can customize default emails directly in an email template, then lock or unlock text, headline, and image sections for organizers to edit.

• Templates can support multiple languages, with localized emails, headers, and footers. Organizers see templates that match their event’s language.

• Administrators can preview emails in available account themes and reuse template content when copying an event.

Benefit

Create ready-to-send emails with built-in brand and content guardrails. Centralize repeatable messaging, reduce manual updates, and give organizers room to personalize the parts that matter—all while supporting multiple languages without maintaining separate templates for each one.

Registration & Website Template Relocation

Expected Release: October 22, 2026

Essentials and Webinar Registration and Website templates are moving to Library > Templates. Find them alongside other templates, with no changes to your existing templates or events.

What’s Changed

• Registration and Website templates for Essentials events and webinars are moving from Library > Templates > Essentials & Webinar to Library > Templates.

• If you visit the old location, you’ll be guided to the new one.

• Your existing templates and events that use them will remain unchanged. No action is needed.

Find and manage templates in one place, with no disruption to your current work. This move also supports a more consistent template experience across Cvent solutions.
