      Session Priority Order

      What's Changed: You can set the display order of concurrent sessions.

      Benefit: When multiple sessions share the same start time, attendees will see them listed according to their intended display order—no more default sorting that could bury your most important sessions. This update enables you to highlight key sessions and guide attendee choices more effectively, particularly in events with complex schedules and numerous concurrent options.

      Auto Record Embedded Collaborative Sessions

      What's Changed: All embedded collaborative session is captured automatically when the host is present and the session begins.

      Benefit: Eliminate manual steps, reduce friction, and ensure that every collaborative session is available for replay and accessibility—helping you to focus on delivering great content, not on remembering technical details.

      1. Enhanced Login Timeout Options for Attendee Hub have been delayed until further notice

      Remember, Attendee Hub customers - If you have an active event between Wednesday and Sunday after this release date, you will not see these new features until Monday after the release. This is to ensure that we do not release features into active, ongoing events.


      Essentials

      Meeting Requesters in Access Portal

      What's Changed: Access Portal users can now submit meeting requests and, once approved, utilize Cvent Essentials to create branded websites, manage registration, check in attendees onsite, run live polls, and send post-event surveys.

      Key Capabilities:

      • Streamlined requests: Request your event in the Access Portal; on approval, launch Essentials to set up and run it.

      • Branded websites & registration: Build branded sites and manage end-to-end registration with templates.

      • Onsite engagement: Check in attendees quickly and engage them with live polling and interactive tools.

      • Post-event feedback: Capture insights with configurable surveys.

      • Budget & venue sourcing: Track costs and source the right venue within the Access Portal.

      • Central planning visibility: Give planners cross-event attendee data, reports, and engagement trends.

      Benefit: 

      • Accelerate event execution for extended users by connecting request, venue sourcing, attendee engagement, and feedback in a single, self-serve flow.

      • Maintain brand consistency and policy compliance with governed access, approved templates, and clear admin controls.

      • Improve operational efficiency and visibility with centralized reporting and cross-event insights for planning teams.

      • Elevate attendee experience with streamlined registration, fast onsite check-in, interactive engagement, and timely feedback collection.

      Access Portal Premium and Cvent Essentials licenses are required for a meeting requester to manage attendees via Cvent Essentials.
