      Remember, Attendee Hub customers - If you have an active event between Wednesday and Sunday after this release date, you will not see these new features until Monday after the release. This is to ensure we are not releasing features into active, ongoing events.

      OnArrival

      OnArrival Badge Designer | QR Code Widget Enhancements

      Planners using the OnArrival Badge Designer can now customize QR codes to match their event's brand. Previously, QR codes were limited to a standard black-on-white design, making them stand out as generic even in otherwise polished, on-brand designs. The Style tab is now available for the QR Code widget, with a color picker that lets planners select any hex color for both the QR code and its background, so attendee badges feel cohesive and on-brand from top to bottom.

      To help ensure scannability, a built-in contrast checker warns planners if the selected color combination doesn't meet the minimum contrast ratio. Transparent backgrounds are also supported for badges with colored or patterned backgrounds.

      If no colors are set, QR codes default to standard black-on-white.

      Note: Color customization applies to QR codes only, not other scannable code types such as barcodes.
