Audience Segments - Invitee Level Segment History
We’re introducing Association History, a new audit capability that gives you visibility into how attendees are associated (or disassociated) with both manual and rule-based segments over time.
This enhancement provides you with a clear audit trail of attendee associations over time, directly in the workflow they already use. It empowers you to efficiently diagnose segmentation issues and ensure segments perform as expected throughout the event lifecycle.
If you are using Audience Segments to personalize the attendee experience— particularly with dynamic segments driven by rule criteria— this visibility helps to:
Evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of segmentation logic.
Troubleshoot why an attendee did not receive communication or access expected content.
Build confidence and trust in how segment rules are behaving.
Association History view is now available for every invitee/ guest:
Access it via Attendee List > Invitee Record > Association History link.
Displays a timeline of segment associations, disassociations, and any skipped records.
Built directly into the attendee record with two filters:
Segment Name
Action Type (Added / Removed / Skipped)
These filters work together using AND logic (both conditions must be met), while allowing OR logic within each filter when multiple values are selected.
Example: Filtering by "Segment A" and "Removed" shows only records where the attendee was removed from Segment A. If you select multiple segment names, results from any of those segments will be shown.
Country Name Updates Across Platforms
Cvent is updating the official spelling of the following countries across our platform:
USA to United States of America
The United States Minor Outlying Islands to the United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands)
Czech Republic to Czechia
Swaziland to Eswatini
Cape Verde to Cabo Verde
As a global company committed to adhering to international standards and regulations, this change aligns with the International Standard Organization’s (ISO) guidelines for country names, ensuring consistency and accuracy in our system. The ISO, an international non-governmental organization that sets global standards, mandates this update to reflect the official naming convention of the United States of America, United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands), Czechia, Eswatini, and Cabo Verde.
Things to know
The country names for "USA", "the United States Minor Outlying Islands", "Czech Republic", "Swaziland", and "Cape Verde" will now be represented as "United States of America", "United States of America (Minor Outlying Islands)", "Czechia", "Eswatini", and "Cabo Verde" throughout the Cvent platform, respectively. This update applies to the instances where country names are displayed within the product.
The field will show the updated value for existing registrants and contacts who had any of these countries selected.
This change does not affect any functionality. It is purely a naming convention update to comply with international standards.
The REST object definitions and country codes have not changed. However, clients using the Cvent REST API will see the updated value for the country if users or attendees have selected them in the product.
REST API: List Event Fees
API users can now fetch event fee data. The new endpoint allows you to retrieve a comprehensive list of all fees configured for an event, including details such as fee names, amounts, early bird pricing structures, refund policies, general ledger codes, and associated registration types. This enhancement streamlines fee management and enables seamless integration with external systems.
