Additional Gender Choices in Flight Request Widget

Invitees can specify their gender as a part of the Flight Request widget during registration with additional choice options. This ensures that the events are more inclusive and helps meet the standards of different geographies and organizations.

The new options that will now be available, along with Male and Female, are:

      • Non-binary

      • Rather not say

       Things to Know:

      • Any events using the Flight Request widget will automatically be updated to display the new choices with this release

      • The new gender choices will be applicable across the following as well:

        • Reporting

        • Planner Alerts

        • REST API - Get Endpoints

      • The Gender value for the flight request will now be copied from the invitee's contact information. So, if a contact has their gender specified, the gender for their flight request will be populated with the same value as well. The invitee or planner can override the default selection.

      Custom Event Field Updates

We are excited to announce two updates to the custom event fields.

      1. Administrators can now control the visibility of Custom Event Fields based on event type, delivering a cleaner, more focused experience. This enhancement streamlines the event creation process and minimizes confusion by displaying only the fields relevant to the event type, such as Events, Webinars, or Essentials.

      2. Administrators can now hide a custom event field from the Event information page in addition to hiding it in the event creation wizard. This enhancement is designed to ensure that if there is a custom field you are no longer using, but you do not want to lose the historical data associated to that field, you can simply choose to hide it.

      Key Highlights

      1. Custom Field Visibility by Event Type - Admins can configure which Custom Event Fields appear for EventsWebinars, and Essentials, ensuring creators only interact with fields relevant to their specific use case.

      2. Field visibility applies to:

        • Creation flows for Events, Webinar, and Essentials

        • Event Information Page (Events) and Details Page (Webinar and Essentials)

      3. Administrators can choose to hide a custom event field without losing any historical data that exists for past events.

      4. Custom event fields that are hidden are still available everywhere else, like reporting, API, integrations, etc.

      5. Hidden fields still count towards the total number of Custom event field limit in the account.
