Top News: Two-Way Passkey Integration and more
The product team has 2 big improvements they're working to deliver in this window that we know you’re going to love:
All Events using Travel now have Two-Way Passkey Integration available automatically - The two-way Passkey integration will now be available as an option in Travel Settings for you to use in your events, for all accounts with the Hotel and Travel Module.
Now, you are able to immediately make use of the two-way Passkey integration with events in Cvent and empower registrants to book their own hotel rooms.
Travel Integration: Support for Multiple Concur Data Centers - You can now have multiple Concur data centers associated with your Cvent account and can select the data center for your event based on the event location. This will ensure that you are redirecting the attendees to the correct Concur meeting for flight bookings for each event. This will also help adhere to the global privacy and compliance laws.
The data center can be selected by following the steps below:
Enable Concur Integration in the event by going to Event > Travel > Travel Settings > Select "Concur's travel system" under Air Travel
2. Go to Integrations > Concur Travel > Set up > Edit > Select the corresponding data center under Basic Settings > Save
Multiple data centers will need to be enabled for the account in order to start using this feature. Clients will need to contact their account representative to get the additional Concur data center added to their Cvent account.
3 additional improvements to make your job easier
If you thought the above items are exciting, wait until you see what else the team plans to release in the next launch window:
Allow Registration Approval and Group Registrations with Stripe - If you’re using the Stripe gateway to process attendee credit card payments, you can now set up your events to use both the Registration Approval and Group Registration features together.
Offline partial payment support for REST API Create Transactions - This allows you to create offline payments for less than the total due and apply that payment to selected items in the order.
Passing Company Value to Cybersource - If you’re using Cybersource as your payment gateway, the Company value can now be passed to Cybersource to check whether the purchaser is associated with a sanctioned company. This introduces an added layer of security and compliance for online credit card payments, ensuring transactions are conducted with legitimate entities.
