Date Change - Automatic Calendar Hold with Confirmation Emails
Over the last few weeks, we've made some exciting product announcements - we hope you caught that amazing Roadmap session! However, development plans can shift and we want to ensure we are communicating any changes to you.
We want to provide an update on the “Automatic Calendar Hold” feature.
Unfortunately, an issue was identified during the release that caused some users to experience errors when opening the email editor.
To prioritize a smooth user experience, we made the decision to revert the changes as a precautionary measure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are now ready to make it available to customers again.
NEW Expected Release: June 20, 2024
How it Works:
On the email details page for registration confirmation, guest confirmation, and admin confirmation emails, you can manage the "Attach calendar file" setting. By default, the feature is disabled for all existing events, and it is enabled for all new events created after the release.
Upon successful registration, attendees will receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite attachment.
The event details are automatically added to the attendee's calendar app, marked as tentative.
