Updated Default Styling for Event Widgets
We’re excited to introduce a small yet impactful styling update for some of our most frequently used event website widgets. These improvements will enable you to create modern, polished event sites more efficiently.
What’s New
The Event Title, Event Date & Time, and Event Location widgets have received updated default styling. Key enhancements include:
Left-aligned text for a cleaner, more consistent layout
Improved text styling for better readability
New icons for event time and location for a more visual, modern touch
Where and How These Changes Apply
These updates will only apply to newly added widgets or brand-new events.
Existing live sites and previously styled content will not be impacted
You will continue to have full control and flexibility to customize styling through existing widget settings
Exhibitor Management
Exhibitor Package Enhancements
Event planners have faced challenges in efficiently managing exhibitor packages, including creating, assigning, updating, and removing them, especially as event complexity and exhibitor counts increase. This release introduces a suite of enhancements to Exhibitor Packages, focused on automating the assignment of packages to exhibitors, streamlining removal and update workflows, and providing robust tracking for package assignment to exhibitors.
Key Capabilities
Auto-Assignment of Packages: You can now enable an "Apply to all exhibitors" toggle for any exhibitor package, similar to other settings in Exhibitor Management. When enabled, all exhibitors added to the event are automatically assigned the selected package and its configuration, provided sufficient resources are available.
Streamlined Exhibitor Removal from the Package: You can remove the package from one or more exhibitors in bulk. The system transparently communicates the impact of removal (e.g., licenses, tasks, settings revoked) and provides a downloadable CSV detailing which exhibitors were successfully removed, which were skipped, and the reasons for any failures.
Package Configuration Updates: Update package configurations (e.g., change license counts, add/remove tasks or features) only if there is no exhibitor that has been assigned this package
Duplicate Packages: Packages can be duplicated within an event, streamlining setup for similar exhibitor packages. Duplicated packages do not inherit exhibitor associations, ensuring a clean starting point for the next package.
Package Update History & Logs: View a detailed history of the last package assignment/removal actions, including timestamps, affected exhibitors, action status, and failure reasons. Downloadable CSV logs are available for both successful and skipped actions.
Notes:
Assignment/Removal Logs: CSV files include exhibitor name, code, action (assignment/removal), status (success/skipped), and failure reason.
Resource Impact: License and registration removals do not result in negative balances, and only unconsumed resources are revoked.
Package Overrides: Features/settings assigned to the exhibitor through multiple exhibitor packages will remain available to the exhibitor until all such packages are removed from the exhibitor.
Manual Overrides: Manually added features/settings for an exhibitor always supersede package-derived settings.
