Spend & Workflow Releases for December 3, 2025

The product team has been working hard to deliver features that maximize efficiency and minimize tedious processes. In this launch window, we have two exciting updates for Budget Management that we want to share with you!

Budget Management

Support for Multiple Card Integrations

Expected Release Date: 12/03/2025

What's Changed: Budget now supports running American Express vPay, Citi, and Mastercard integrations side-by-side within a single account. Admins can create up to 100 notifications and target them by Integration Type, and they can control visibility/actions by assigning InControl Purchase Templates and/or Amex vPay accounts to user or event roles. Cross-event reporting and the in‑event Card Overview and Card Transactions tabs now honor these permissions, showing only authorized issuers, spend, and transactions.

Benefit: Teams can manage multiple card programs in one place without juggling separate accounts, while targeting notifications and access by issuer. Role-based controls reduce noise and enforce least‑privilege so users only see the cards and transactions they’re allowed to manage. Reporting stays consistent across events, improving oversight and reconciliation.

New Budget REST API Endpoint

Expected Release Date: 12/03/2025

What's Changed: A new account-wide Budget REST API endpoint lets you retrieve budget items across your entire account without requiring an Event ID, aligning REST with prior SOAP behavior. It supports delta-based fetches within a date range, optional filters (e.g., Event ID, dates), and paginated responses for predictable performance.

Benefit: You can reduce multiple event-level calls to a single query, simplifying ETL and data warehousing while pulling only what changed. Downstream systems stay current and performant, even with large datasets, thanks to targeted retrieval and pagination.
