Start Vendor Sourcing Through Meeting Requests

Release Date: 01/28/2026 (we recognize this is a later notice than we typically provide - we wanted to be sure all details were finalized before communicating officially!)

What’s Changed: Meeting requests now include a "Vendor RFP" option that creates and links Reposite projects and RFPs to both the meeting request and its associated event, with a new "Associated Vendor RFPs" table and direct navigation into Reposite.

Benefit: Planners and sourcing teams can start and manage vendor RFPs directly from submitted meeting requests in one place, improving visibility and reducing manual steps across Cvent and Reposite.

Budget Management

Improved Event Spend Visibility

What's Changed: The "Spend Details per Person" event report now supports spend reporting for all accepted and cancelled registrants, all registrants regardless of participation, and session participants tied to budget items, without requiring participation tags or custom field prerequisites.

Benefit: Planners gain clearer, more flexible visibility into per-person event spend, including the ability to track costs for cancelled registrants, such as flights or hotel reservations that were incurred before cancellation.
