Auto Event Creation in Workflows

Expected Release Date: 09/02/2026

What’s changed: Auto Event Creation is now a workflow action for meeting request forms. Administrators can select a Standard Event, Essentials Event, or Webinar Event and use Advanced Rule Criteria to control when each event type is created.

Benefit: Create the appropriate event type based on meeting request status, RFP status, and other conditions. This reduces manual event setup and helps standardize workflows.

Workflow Execution History

Expected Release Date: 09/02/2026

What’s changed: Account Administrators can now use the Workflow Execution History Report to review workflow executions, including their status, workflow configuration, initiation details, and action type. The report can be filtered, customized, saved, scheduled, and exported.

Benefit: Investigate workflow outcomes and answer routine operational questions with more visibility. This helps administrators identify whether an execution succeeded, is pending, or failed without relying on support for basic details.

Access Portal

EUDC Support for Simple RFP

Expected Release Date: 09/02/2026

What’s changed: Simple RFP is now available in Access Portals for accounts hosted on Cvent’s EU data center. Planners can discover venues and send Simple RFPs directly through the portal.

Benefit: Offer planners a self-service option for sourcing venues for simple, small meetings. This reduces sourcing friction and can reduce reliance on internal account teams.
