SPOTLIGHT: Marketo for Simple Registration
In this special post, we're highlighting an enhancement made to our Marketo Integration that can save planners time if they have existing processes/forms that they want to use for registration with basic events or webinars.
Capture Small Event Registration Using your Marketo Integration
We recognize that some Marketers have existing processes/Marketo forms in place to capture basic event registration information for simple events instead of using Cvent. We understand this use case and have created a way, using the Marketo integration, to streamline the invitees’ registration experience while still taking advantage of the Cvent platform where needed.
By leveraging your Marketo forms for simpler registration events, your existing marketing strategies and attribution processes stay in place while allowing Cvent to execute on more impactful areas such as check-in, badging, webinars, virtual conferences, mobile applications, and more.
Customers with the Cvent Marketo connector can use their Marketo forms/processes to create Attendees in "accepted" status. This saves manual export/import and allows Attendees to sign up in near real-time. Also, this can trigger a Cvent email with appropriate links and details for Attendees to engage with the event, such as attending the webinar, using the mobile app, printing badges, etc.

For customers with a Marketo Launchpoint integration, this functionality is available now and compatible with Webinar Premium and standard events with the Cvent registration feature disabled.
