As a reminder, the Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence in the near future as we continue to work on aligning product release development work over time. This week's post contains Jifflenow releases that will be released by the end of the month.

      Jifflenow

Updates to the Cvent <> Jifflenow Integration

      Expected Release Date: 8/20/2025

What's Changed: The Cvent <> Jifflenow integration has been enhanced to streamline appointment management and reduce manual setup.

      Key updates include:

      • Removing the need for a custom 'Cvent Contact ID' field by storing IDs securely in the backend

      • Introducing a standard 'Meeting Title' field for consistent appointment subject mapping

      • Supporting substituted registrants by automatically marking replaced users as unregistered

      • Improving appointment location handling by matching location IDs to prevent sync errors

      • Disabling the "Enforce Scheduling Rules" option by default to ensure all Jifflenow meetings are created in Cvent without scheduling conflicts.

Benefit: These enhancements deliver a more reliable, scalable, and user-friendly experience for event planners. By automating key processes and reducing manual dependencies, the integration minimizes sync errors, ensures accurate data mapping, and simplifies setup.

Planners benefit from improved appointment accuracy, easier management of attendee changes, and seamless meeting creation—ultimately saving time and reducing the risk of configuration issues. Re-authentication ensures continued access to the latest capabilities and a smoother integration experience.

Note: All existing Cvent <> Jifflenow integrations must be re-authenticated to ensure continued functionality and access to the latest features. Without re-authentication, the integration may not function as expected, and new enhancements will not be available.

Enhanced Reminder Summary Emails & Configuration Controls for Meeting Managers

      Expected Release Date: 8/14/2025

What's Changed: Jifflenow has enhanced the Meeting Reminder experience for Meeting Managers. Reminder Summary Emails now include the event name and reminder dates for added clarity. The previous “Failed Records” label has been replaced with a clearer message: “No reminders sent due to no scheduled meetings.” CSV reports are improved, listing attendee names, roles, reminder status, and meeting IDs, all sorted alphabetically.

Managers can now enable or disable summary emails and select specific recipients (such as event owners or support staff). Additionally, the reminders settings sub-menu has been renamed from Setup to Configuration for easier navigation.

Benefit: These updates provide Meeting Managers with clearer, more actionable reporting and greater control over reminder notifications. By minimizing confusion and email fatigue, the enhancements support more efficient, scalable meeting operations and help ensure that the right stakeholders receive relevant updates.
