Reminder: The Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence in the near future, as we continue to align product release development work. This week's post features two Jifflenow releases.

      Jifflenow

      Auto-Decline Unregistered Attendees

Expected Release Date: July 24, 2026

Unregistered attendees are now automatically removed — no manual cleanup needed.

      What’s Changed:

      • Auto-Decline: Unregistering an attendee instantly declines them from all associated meetings, sessions, and activities.

      • Event Toggle: Admins can turn auto-decline on or off per event (requires registration integration).

      • CSV Notifications: Meeting Managers get a full CSV of impacted items; requestors receive one scoped to their own.

      • Off by Default: Nothing changes until an admin enables it.

      • Audit Trail: Every auto-decline is logged in meeting history with a reason, separate from manual declines.

      Benefit:
Meeting Managers no longer need to hunt down and remove unregistered attendees across an event. Attendee lists and reports stay accurate in real time, and automated CSV notifications give all stakeholders instant visibility into what changed.

      Staff Activity Enhancements

Expected Release Date: July 24, 2026

Document, notify, and report on activities — all in one place.

      What’s Changed:

      • A Comments field is now included by default on all activity engagement types.

      • Comments are automatically included in participant notifications.

      • The Comments field is available as a column in the bulk upload template for scale.

      • On-demand reports now include a Category filter (Meetings / Activities) to isolate what you need.

      • The Category filter defaults to Meetings, preserving familiar report behavior.

      Benefit:

Activities now carry context from form to attendee inbox, and reporting is cleaner with a single filter to separate meetings from activities. Both updates restore capabilities from the legacy experience, reducing friction for teams who've made the transition.
