Trade Show Solutions Releases for May 20, 2026
Reminder: The Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence in the near future, as we continue to align product release development work. This week's post features three Jifflenow releases.
Jifflenow
Soft Blocks
Expected Release Date: May 15, 2026
Book around calendar conflicts with more flexibility without losing visibility.
What’s Changed:
Jifflenow will introduce Soft Blocks, giving teams more flexibility when scheduling meetings that overlap with external calendar conflicts.
Meeting requestors will still be able to book meetings when there’s a conflict with Cvent sessions or external calendar blocks.
Conflict indicators will appear directly in the Request Meeting flow, along with a confirmation step before the meeting is finalized.
Conflicts will also be visible in the Master Calendar, giving Meeting Managers a clearer view of overlaps across meetings and sessions.
This update is designed for meeting requestors, schedulers, and Meeting Managers.
Benefit: Scheduling becomes more flexible and easier to manage. Instead of being blocked by every external calendar conflict, teams can make informed decisions in the moment—helping them prioritize high-value meetings, reduce scheduling slowdowns, and keep everything moving with clearer visibility.
Soft Blocks
Expected Release Date: May 15, 2026
Automatically screen inbound meeting requests with event-level rules—so only qualified attendees can book time.
What’s Changed:
Meeting Managers can now set event-level eligibility rules for the Inbound Request Page (IRP).
Rules can be based on registration status, allowed or blocked email domains, and limits on how many meeting requests an attendee can submit.
Teams can also apply multiple rules, use AND/OR logic, send automated rejection emails, and view rejection reasons in the UI and exports.
This update is designed for Meeting Managers using IRP Meetings in Jifflenow.
Benefit:
Managing inbound requests is now faster, easier, and more controlled. Instead of manually reviewing every request, teams can automatically filter out unqualified or duplicate submissions up front. That helps protect valuable meeting inventory, reduces admin work, and gives attendees a clearer booking experience from the start.
Jifflenow Salesforce App 5.6
Expected Release Date: May 22, 2026
A new package is available for the Jifflenow Salesforce App to allow you to book around calendar conflicts and see full attendee details in Salesforce, so your team can schedule faster and show up better prepared.
What’s Changed:
You’ll be able to schedule meetings in Salesforce even when calendars show conflicts, with clear visibility into overlaps like tentative holds, sessions, or external calendar blocks.
You’ll also see full attendee details directly in the meetings workflow, including standard attendee fields and custom registration data.
This update is designed for teams who schedule and prepare for Jifflenow meetings in Salesforce.
Benefit:
Scheduling gets easier, and meeting prep gets faster. Your team can keep important meetings moving without getting blocked by calendar conflicts, while also getting the attendee context they need in one place. That means less switching between systems, less manual work, and more confident conversations.
